Learn to blog, blog to learn

So here I am, my very first post. It seems like everyone we know has been trying to get us to catch on this blog phenomenon even long before we left. It took some time to catch on, after all, I tried to resist the whole cell-phone thing too, but alas finially caved under the peer pressure.

Kidding aside, it did take some time for us to realize that blogs aren’t just for the über professional journalist types and the angsty teens with nothing better to do. We wanted to stay in touch with our friends and describe our new experiences and stories. You’re no doubt thinking, “duh, that’s the whole point”, but it took quite a bit of bold courage to take that step of experimenting with blogs and actually make one. After all, we’re far away now, and we miss everyone!

Some of you sneaky sneaky people have already stumbled upon the site before its official unveiling. Please mind the dust, as we’re still putting things together here.
